How to Cut Foam for Poster Mounting

Hi! My name is Sheryl and welcome to expertvillage.com. Today we are mounting a poster. In our case right now, it's just kind of a small picture. I really like this picture of my son, so I want to go ahead and preserve it by mounting it on this foam core that we're using. The next part is you kind of have to get comfortable on the floor. If that's hard for you to do, then maybe you can find somebody else who can help you out with this. Taking your ruler, you want to get comfortable and you're going to line it right up with the picture so it's go a straight line. Then you're going to press down with one hand and you're going to do a series of scoring. You're not going to push really, really hard. You're going to go over this piece several times and you're just going to score it. Pretty soon, you're that side will be done. The nice thing is you do have this newspaper underneath to be able to protect your carpet.
