How to Prepare Nail for Bone Handle

JASON HARRIS: Hi, I'm Jason with the ExpertVillage.com and we made the bone chest--the drawer handle for the chest. We polished all the edges and beveled and now, it's just time to secure it to the drawer. And--well, I made it out of bone. It's kind of rustic looking. I don't want to put a screw head in there. I want to be a little bit more original. It doesn't-the old ones were only secured by this wire; pretty dangly. So, what I'm going to do is to kinda keep with the look 'cause I'm going to put a nail through it and I'm going to take a pair of pliers and I'm going to mark as close as I can on the nail to the--the pliers won't work. I'm going to mark as close as I can to the whole--just by twisting around and I'll leave--I'll leave these little marks so that I can--with my Dremel, I can put a little tiny divot and bend the nail and it will stay on the drawer. So, I'm going to demonstrate that next and we'll attach it.
