How to Add Decorative Edge to Bone Handle

JASON HARRIS: Hi, I'm Jason with ExpertVillage.com. Today, we're making the chest drawer handle out of bone and we've taken off the layer of brown-grey stuff right here, drilled the holes, did the edges and the bevel. Now, as I'm looking at it, I want to put a little bit of--just a little decorative edge on the--on the bone, on the outside of both sides. The only reason I want to do that is because I can go a little bit further down. It will give it some color--a different color variation. It will make it look a lot nicer and as you start getting in with the drill bit, you start getting comfortable with doing a simple line, you can see how easy it is you could carve an intricate design in here. But just to show you the first steps of it, I'm going to put an edge around a divot all the way around in here, almost like a bevel in the outside and round this edge over and it will make it look a whole lot different, a little more professional.
