JASON HARRIS: Hi, I'm Jason with ExpertVillage.com and today, we're making the replacement drawer handle. I'm going to make it out of this antler that I found. I cut the ends off with a skill saw and I don't want a really big, long one. This is only held in by one, it's not even a screw, it's just this clip. So, I wanted to be able to support it so-and still have something to hold on to. Now, with this bone, I'm going to use a Dremel and some cutting and polishing bits. And it's a lot like polishing rock or anything else only with this, I'm not going to try to make it too shapely. I'm going to kinda keep the shape that it has. I'm going to pick out--before I start though, I'm gonna--notice there's a curve in the bone. And I'm going to want the parts sticking outward to be the front of the drawer handle. Otherwise, you're going to have to reach behind, it's going to cut your fingers. So, we're going to want the curve outward and we're gong to drill a hole all the way through the center where the clip will go first and then we'll do some shaping of the deep gouges in the sides. And I'll talk about some of the other things you don't want to do. This bone marrow part in the middle, you don't really want to mess around with too much. So, get all of your tools. You'll need a Dremel. You'll need a cutting bit and three polishing bits. A 400--I'm sorry. A 600 and 800 and a 1200 bit, and I'll go over a little bit more of the first steps for cutting the hole in the center in the next step.
