How to Add More Grout for Stained Glass Stepping Stones

ALLISON KLINGER: On behalf of ExpertVillage.com, my name is Allison at Western Art Glass. And I'm mixing a little more grout because I didn't mix enough the first time. What you need to be aware of, it's really nasty. In fact, I should have a dust mask on, but I'm kinda--I really shouldn't cut corners, but since I'm almost done, looks like I'll just mix it. You want to mix it. It's just water and grout in a bucket. I'll never use for anything else but grout. Okay? Like I said, I should be wearing a dust mask. Make sure you mix this in either shop space--outside is even better, unless it's the dead of winter. It's freezing like it is here right now. So anyway, I'm in the shop here in the studio, so this is fine. Like I said, I should have a dust mask on. You want to make sure there isn't, like, chunks of grout. We want to mix it really, really smooth as possible. If it's too watery, add more grout. We're almost there. All right. Okay. Pour the rest of the grout. Looks like I mixed this up a little thicker than my initial batch, which is fine. In fact, probably, the thicker, the better towards the end like this. Okay. If grout gets in your hair, it's your own fault for not tying it up.
