In roller coaster there is a rule variation that you can implimate to make sure that the pot is never empty before the end of the hand before the end of round five where the showdown occurs. Also you can make sure that there is action every hand or almost every hand and it's called the punishment rule or the winnie rule. The way it works is if we take a chip and we secretly place it in our hand or don't and everybody who goes to one two three shows an empty hand. In that case we all have to match the pot so four in a four handed game becomes twenty. Cause nobody won the pot, there you have it. The other way that this rule works is if only one person says 1 2 3 and has a chip in their hand they take the pot by not having competition and everybody else has to match for not playing by putting twenty. So that is how you make sure that the pot is never emptied prematurely before the showdown and you encourage action, we all know exciting poker is about action.
