Correct Posture of Client When Cutting Hair
Hi! My name is Dawn Shannon for Expert Village, owner of Intuition Salon and Spa, I’m also a hairstylist. And now we’re going to cover making sure the client is properly ready to receive their haircut, this is also very key in doing a haircut and that they are scooted all the way back in the chair, they’re sitting up straight, the cape is out and legs aren’t crossed. When their legs are crossed their body can be crooked and that’s creating a crooked haircut, sometimes it doesn’t look like they’re sitting crooked but it can still throw the haircut off and you don’t want that because then they can come back and say they had a crooked haircut and it was because their legs were crossed. You want to make sure that their arms are straight, their head's straight, their shoulders are straight and their feet are straight.
