SONJIA CUHER: On behalf of Expert Village, this is Sonjia Cuher. What to bring back? You know, the usual knickknacks I guess. If this is your first time going to Peru, you will end up buying small bags, seed bags, and combs, necklaces, zamponas or panpipes that probably you won't ever play them, but still you get all kind of knickknacks, gloves. But besides the usual things, there is so much more that actually you can buy. First of all, you know I will recommend to check our galleries and check the local artists. You're going to find beautiful pieces like this one. This is from an artist called Pablo Seminario in the highlands of Peru. This is a very well-known artist and his pieces are not very cheap but they are worth it. Besides that, go the extra mile and if you know a little bit of our history, so figure out. These are the fertility gods. Plus, you're going to learn a little bit, and you will have something to talk about later on. Of course, there is always, when you have the impulse of buying, I love these religious items. These are indigenous angels. You know they are still wearing the Indian clothing but with religions nuances. Another one, you can always check, that's another beautiful piece from a well-known artist in Peru. So there is large variety of things that you can buy. Don't just stick around and remember you are going to get what you pay for. So if you get a sweater for $10 dollars probably you're sure it's not going to be that good. But if you get a sweater, an alpaca sweater, for $50 dollars, yeah it's going to be a better quality, softer to the touch like anywhere in the world.
