Choosing Backpacks for Peru Travel

SONJIA CUHER: On behalf of Expert Village, this is Sonjia Cuher. The first thing I'm going to show you is what to take to Peru whatever you decide to take the pains of actually what is that you're going to do. You know, Peru, of course, everybody knows Peru because of Machu Picchu, hiking trails and jungles, and things like that. So, if you ever going to go for a hike, the--one of the most important thing is a backpack. I know Peru has all kind of forests and things like that, but even if you are not going to be able to carry your pack, somebody will have to. So you need a backpack and make sure that it's a sturdy one. Be kind to the porters, that's why they are going to carry your bag, and check for any backpack that will just fit whatever you're going to take. You don't need anything much bigger. The only thing that you need, I would recommend--it's a day pack. You know, some backpacks, they have a detachable backpack, but I like to carry an extra one, sort of like this one, like a small funny pack. It's very convenient, you just put it around your waist and I like it because I can--actually there is a place for my camera. Remember; don't ever leave anything lying around. So, if you have something very secure, it's going to work.
