How to Play the Hand in the Middle Variation of Guts Poker

We're talking about special rules for the poker variant guts. Let's look now at one called hand in the middle. Everybody is in with their antes and then we deal the starting hands which are the ending hands if you want to think about it. With the hand in the middle you deal two cards down, what happens is in addition to being the best hand among your opponents, you also have to beat the hand in the middle to take down the pot. So let's go 1 2 3 drop and say these two guys stayed in well ten four beats six deuce so he's good there but the hand in the middle is king three. So he doesn't take down the pot now at this juncture you need to decide if you have a house rule that says nobody take down the pot, does the pot builds. Decide that and you will know how fast your pot can go up.
