Understand the Weenie Rule Variation in Guts Poker

Guts like a lot of poker variants can be played with special rules house rules if you will or whatever rules of poker games agrees to. Let's look at one called the weenie rule, why do we call it the weenie rule? It's because maybe everybody at the table is tight at least to put in the ante but maybe they are not loose enough to actually stay in. If we say 1 2 3 drop, everybody at their table drops their hands then with the weenie rule we play, everybody has to reveal their hands. And the person at the table who would have won the pot if they stayed in now has to match the pot and the pot grown in this way.
