Keeping a Record of Male Menopause Symptoms

Hello, my name is Dr Susan Jewell. Now in this clip I am going to tell you some if the things you should do to be able to keep sort of a record of you symptoms so that you can see there is some sort of pattern and if you really feel that you need to go and see the doctor then you have got something to go back to, to consult back to and refer back to with the doctor to see if it is actually is the a diagnose of male menopause or andropause and not some other condition, medical condition, or situations that you are finding yourself in that you are having all of these symptoms. So what are the things that you could do? Well first thing I recommend is to list your symptoms, you know, list your symptoms and keep that list on a daily basis, keep it in a diary and keep a log, you know, of your symptoms that you are feeling. For example, you know, do you feel that you are having lack of sleep or your sleeping habits have changed, or you have difficulty sleeping, or falling asleep? Do you have a lack of energy, lethargy, you know, just feeling fatigue all the time very, just a feeling of a sense of weakness? Do you have feelings of depression and poor concentration, poor memory? Keep track of all of these, also you know if you appetite has changed or decreased. Keep a track of all these symptoms and list them as I said daily in a log pad or a diary and write it down and be meticulous about it. Keep a track for about one or two weeks and try to look back and try to see or notice some kind of a pattern occurring and if you do you need to at least go an consult your medical professional, your doctor, and talk to them about it and then there are some tests the doctor can order to see if it actually is caused by the decrease of testosterone level in your body which is causing the male menopause.
