Watering Newly Grown Tomato Seedlings

This segment of the tomato planting for transplant in the spring is going to be the watering of the newly formed or newly planted 6 packs of tomato plants that we will have growing here in 6 weeks, a few weeks. One of the things that you want to be careful about when you water especially since you just put the seeds in there, those seeds are dry and they are like little corks. And if you use a splashing water mechanism or if you water real heavy real suddenly, they can float to the top. They will get out of the cell they are supposed to be in and you will have more than 1 in each cell or more in the cells that you need and none in others and things like that. So I am using a sprinkler can and I am just barely dropping water on tops of those cells. And if you notice that the premium potting soil, the water is going right straight through. It is not trying to puddle on top so that those seeds do float to the surface.
