Dealing With Roots When Growing Alligator Jaw Plants

It will even root down from the stem. Right here are roots coming out of this stem and if you just jerk this out of the ground and threw it out of the pot and threw it on the ground, it would grow roots out of the side of this and root itself down to the ground and go right on. As a succulent, it is fairly unusual because succulents as a rule aren't as tough as this particular one is. I don't know where it came from. I got my cutting from a friend and I wouldn't mind if someone could actually tell me what this plant is because I've not spent a lot of time researching it. I would think that as common as it appears to be that somebody out there should know the actual scientific name for it.
