Hi! This is Elise McMahon for Expert Village and in this video series we’re talking about how to travel with your dog. If you would like to find out more about my services you can visit my website at canineheadstart.com. So in this clip we’re going to be talking about places to go. Where is the appropriate place to be when you’ll be traveling with your dog? Really, the options are varied you could be going for a weekend trip to visit some relatives, you could be going hiking, you could be going camping and you could be going to Europe. So, there’s all different kinds of places that you can go with your dog almost any place that you can go yourself, you can bring your dog along that doesn’t mean you can bring your dog into every place you’re going to be going. But you can certainly bring your dog with you while you’re traveling. One really great resource nowadays to find out information about where you can stay in places that are dog friendly is the Internet and I have just printed out a couple of sheets here to demonstrate for you, the kind of online sites that are available. This one is called Let Us Go Pets and as you can see there’s lot of options here to help you pick out hotels, travel destinations, places, cities, cities that are dog friendly, cities that have parks specifically for dogs. Here’s another one it’s called Pet Travel Guides and City Guides for your dog. So there’s a number of different places available that you can go look, if you just go on to the Internet, download, take a look at, map out routes with dog friendly hotels, and again even if you’re going to be planning on going to Europe you can travel fairly easy in most European countries, even getting over to Ireland and England nowadays with your dogs is possible whereas number of years ago it wasn’t. So if you’re thinking about making a trip whether it’s short or whether it’s long consider including a dog with you.
