Now we're going to discuss the types of customer service. I'm Pamela Unruh on behalf of Expert Village. Now we've discussed some very important factors of dealing with your customer in person, most recently talking about demonstrating. Now we've got another interactive exercise that I'm going to ask you to do. And what you're going to need for this is just a pen and a piece of paper. Alright, the rest is secret. Okay, you've got your pen and paper ready, and I am going to tell you what I want you to do, okay? Let's see how this works out. Alright, I want you to draw a square, as soon as you get through drawing that square, I want you to also draw a rectangle. Just a longer version of a square. Put a circle inside the rectangle, and now draw a line from one to the other. Okay, does your image look at all like mine? Now look at it and compare them. This is what I wanted to get from you. But if you've done anything different, then we're not exactly on the same page, are we? If I demonstrate, if I would of shown you this first, or even just added a little bit more detail, for example; put a square in the upper left hand corner of your sheet. Draw a diagonal line, just add a little more explanation of where I wanted each object placed. Then we would of been talking the same language a little bit better than we were, because I can guarantee, I bet you that our images don't look anything alike? And that's the importance of demonstration, make sure your customer knows what you're explaining and that they can actually see it and put it into practice.
