Applying Mascara for Photo Shoot Makeup

To finish off the eyes, we're going to do a coat of mascara. For this look, you don't want to have the mascara too heavy, but you really want to accentuate the eyelashes. You want to be very patient and precise about your mascara. You don't want it to look too thick and cakey, but you want to give it some length and thickness. What I like to do is just kind of loosely put a coat on and then after there's a nice solid coat on every leash, go right in and separate all the lashes. Really take your time and separate each individual lash. If your eyelashes aren't naturally curly like my model's, you might want to use a little eye lasher curler to kind of give them a nice little curl. After you've separated each individual lash on top, depending on what look you're going for, you might just want to put a little bit on the bottom as well. Especially if you don't have big lashes on the bottom, you want to kind of accentuate those bottom lashes and make them stand out a little more. That'll give you a nice Bambi eyelash looking your photos. Again, be very, very careful and precise. You just done all this hard work. You don't want to mess up your mascara. Once they're nice and separated, if you want to add another coat, you can. It's not necessary for her. I'm just going to keep it like that. It looks perfect.
