Now that we have the face and the eyes done, the last thing we need to do is lips. The lips are a very important part of this look, obviously, and they're a little easier than the eyes, but we're using a dramatic color. You still have to have patience when doing the lips. I'm using a lip liner. If you have larger lips and you don't want to use a lip liner, you can just use the lip stick and gloss. She has petite lips, so I'm going to use a lip liner just to make them look fuller. I'm going to draw outside her lip line just a teeny tiny bit with the lip liner. I'm using a very dark burgundy color or wine color actually. I'm drawing a little bit under or over her natural lip line. Just have a lot of patience doing this. Make sure that everything is even. I'm also filling in her entire lip with this color as well. This is going to help keep the lipstick on longer. It's going to make everything look blended. It's going to help prevent bleeding. With these darker colors, sometimes the lips tend to bleed, especially when you're using gloss. Make sure that when you're drawing above the natural lip line, you don't draw too much. You don't want to look like you've just had collagen treatments. You just want to look like it's your natural lip accentuated. Once you have the lip line drawn in, now fill in the whole lip just like you're drawing with a crayon. This is the time where you can be creative and shape your lip to however you want it. You can draw points. It just depends on what kind of lip look you're going for. I like to take a foundation brush and just kind of even everything out. If you draw over the line it's okay. It's not a big deal. We can always fix it. Now we can start with the lipstick.
