Applying False Eyelashes for High Fashion Makeup

Now to finish off the eye look, the dramatic eye look, we're going to do false eyelashes. This is very, very important. You can't just go out like this with this eyeliner without false eyelashes on, unless you have some crazy, crazy dramatic natural lashes. Most people do not. Invest in some natural human hair lashes. They're very inexpensive. You can find them anywhere and they just look fantastic and they go on well. Get some dramatic ones. You don't have to get too natural. These are kind of mid range. You want to measure them on your eye real quick just to make sure that you don't have to cut them Open. Tina's got nice wide eyes, so I'm not going to cut them at all. If your eyes are short, you might want to cut a little piece off the ends. That's completely up to you. Then you want to take a little bit of glue, and I mean a little bit of glue, and you want to line the outside rim of the lashes. A very, very light, light coat. Just like so. Very light coat of glue. You just want to wait maybe about 30 seconds until the glue gets a bit tacky so that when you put it on the lashes or the lid, it doesn't slide off. It sticks. Close your eyes. Actually, open them. Look down. Don't close. You just want to look down and then you want to place the eyelashes directly on top of your natural lashes. As close to your natural lashes as you can possibly get them. You want to kind of wing up this tip. You want it to point upwards toward the eyeliner rather than downwards. You just want to kind of hold it on the top of the lid. Make sure it adheres. Usually it takes about a minute for the glue to dry completely. Just make sure you get it as close to the lashes as you can. Open. Look up. Make sure you don't glue your eyes closed. Look at the camera. There you go. There's your false eyelashes. They make a dramatic difference.
