Checking Fit of Tuxedo Rental

Hi on behalf of Expert Village I'm Garen Palmer and this is Ritz Tuxedos. You've come in and tried on your tuxedo, how do you know if that tuxedo's right? Maybe the sales person's just... you know, you're the final judge you're the one that has to wear it, you're the one that wants to make sure that tux fits correctly. Couple of things to watch for. When you're putting on your vest, make sure the length is adjusted so that you don't have any white shirt showing between the vest and the pants. Two things could be wrong there. The vest is too short, they can be adjusted at the top here to make the vest longer. The other thing might be that you are wearing your pants too low, so if you're wearing your pants here it's very hard to get that vest to go long enough. So, wear your pants up high, have the vest come down and cover that shirt stripe there. Second thing is the coat. Its important that you don't want the coat too big. You can tell if a coat's too big if one has too much space in the front. If there's more than just a couple of inches overlap there, that's really about all you want. If the coat's too big, you're also going to get a little bit of a dent in here in the shoulder. It's going to be a little bit of a hallow look right there. So that means the coat's too broad through here, too big in here. The other thing, tough, if the coat's too small. One, you may not be able to button it, when you do button it it maybe stretches in through the sides here, but you're also going to get a bulge right in here where your arms, especially for guys that are quite muscular that can be a tight fit right here. So, you don't want it too big, too tight, not too much room here, and you want it comfortable. You don't want to be able to do this, and reach up high and have it fit perfect, but if you're standing normal, relaxed, the coat should come right in to where the hand meets the wrist, buttons nicely without being too big or too tight, shoulders nice and straight.
