Calling Ahead for Tuxedo Rental

Hi! On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Garen Palmer and you're at Ritz Tuxedos. We're going to talk about what is the best type of store to work with. Like I said, my preference is to work with a store that has the tuxedos in the store where you can actually, see them, feel them, put them on, and wear them, but that's not always possible. What you have to do is first call around, find out, ask questions. The first question you might as is do you carry your stock in your store? Can we try on the tuxedos? If that's the case, then that's great, but sometimes it might be a satellite store and you might want to call and say can we try on tuxedos. They'll probably tell you we have samples of everything here, but you can't actually try them on because we don't stock inventory here. The third option is it might be a bridal store that just does tuxedos as a side line or men’s' store and they have to order them in. In that case, you have to just look at pictures. That's a little tougher because you can't actually tell if that's the actually color. They had to bring them in from somewhere else. The problem with that also might be that if you come in to try it on at the time of your wedding and it doesn't fit, there's not a lot they can do about it. Their warehouse might be a 100-500 miles away. Here in this store where we stock everything here, if we have a problem, we just walk back and grab you another pant, another coat, another shirt and you're ready to go. It's really advantage to work with someone that has tuxedos in the store.
