Drums for "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana: Part 2

Alright, so the fill is nice and simple. The snare is going on the downbeats. Alright? It's very simple. You have flams happening, which flams again were that sound instead of. So you're using both sticks. If you're right handed, if you're playing lead right hand as all these clips I've been showing you're going to do the left hand just like a little tap just before an accented right hand. Alright? So, if you play the downbeats you're going to be playing all four downbeats of the bar, alright? So, one, two, three, four. Okay? Very very simple. The tricky thing comes in when you add the kick, alright? The kick is almost all upbeat sixteenth notes, okay? Listen to it real quick. Okay? It's the three, four, up, up, up, up, up, up, up. Okay? So, literally when it's playing it's just on beat one, it's e and a. You have one e and a. And it's the same for the rest of the bar except for the upbeat four when it comes in. So, take a look at the next clip and we'll finish out this fill.
