Creating Blood Flow for Carpal Tunnel Massage

ALEXSON ROY: So now, what we're going to do is we're going to do a streaming effleurage, okay? And this is a great neuromuscular exercise 'cause what you're doing is you're kinda like just streams. You're creating streams. You're creating a lot of blood flow and your hands get really, really, really, really hot, okay? Because it's almost like friction of your hands and her forearm or his forearm and you're just going to go--you can go up or you can go down, it doesn't matter. But the thing is you gotta think of the muscles as like all these different fibers, all these different things that look like spaghetti, I think. And then you're going to kinda like just separate them. That's really what's you're trying to do. Okay, just separate them. You can go up. You can go down. You can go up. You can go down. You can do both. You can go up and down, up, okay? But just try to create that heat, okay? And it's not too much 'cause we've gone past the warm up. We've done another modality. At this point, the muscle gives, okay? It should give. If it doesn't, I think you need to go back to pressure point. But at this point, the muscle has already given--you just create streams, creating that blood flow and relaxing it even more, and then you just let it relax. There you go.
