How to Attach Ribbon to a Name Tag

So every craft has one difficult part, and this is our difficult part and that is attaching the guest past to the Mardi Gra beads. There are different ways that you can do that and I've tried practically all of them and depending on the event, sometimes things work out better and sometimes things call for a certain thing. So, I have used these as invitations, I have used them as party passes, I've used them as tickets, and they've all looked like this, but their attachment is something different. And today we're going to be using ribbon, but let me tell you about what other items I've used. I've used, in sewing stores they have little silver rings which bend and go through the top and through this other portion. It doesn't really call for this type of party event, that's not the best thing for me. Also we can take our ribbon and sew it and I've also had thicker ribbon than this one. Now I think this size even works out great because it's not too thick and it's also easy to bend around and have it hanging from my Mardi Gra beads. But for something like an invitation, where it doesn't have to move, this name tag doesn't have to move cause we're not going to be wearing it, it's more for a show item for an invitation. So I've used thicker ribbon and it was velvet and I actually sewed the top of it. Well actually my groom to be sewed it cause he's always helpful. So now that we've chosen what we're going to use, now let's get started on our next task which is actually attaching it.
