How to Laminate a Name Tag

Now I have my guest name tags all ready in the little sleeves, luggage tag sleeves and they are ready to go through the laminator. Now I've had my laminating machine on for about 15 minutes so it'll heat up and it has a little ready light that indicates that it is ready for me to start pushing it through. Here's a couple of tips when you're using the laminator. You want to put it in the closed end first so that it's attached on this end, that's the end that you're going to feed in first. Make sure it's pretty lined up in the center. They have a motor on the inside. Once the motor picks up, the conveyor picks up on the luggage tag, then you let it go because it's going to bring it through itself at its own pace and then we just wait until it comes out the other end. I can just follow that up as soon as that one heads off inside, I can follow it up with another guest name tag. And then there we have it coming out in the other end and look at how neat that looks. Presto! It's a little warm from the machine, so you want to just lay it over on the side and let it cool and now I'm going to run one more through. Once that's done, we're going to be ready for our next step. But let me give you one more tip; if you don't want to invest in a laminating machine, laminating machines can be about 100 or so dollars, a little more if you're getting a really fancy one, it could be even more expensive than that. You might not want to invest in one and that's okay. If you go to your local office supply store, or your copy store, a lot of times they have a big laminating machine and they will do the lamination for you for a lot less expensive. So you might want to try that route. And now we're ready, we're going to let these cool for a second and then we're ready for our next step.
