How to Advise Customers as a Waiter

Hi! My name is Leslie Moselle and we're here at Mickey Quinn's in Seminole, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, this is how to be a successful server. I'm on my way to my customer's table. I went ahead and put their appetizer order in and getting those chicken tenders ready. I'm on the way back to see if they have any questions or kind of still looking over the menu. I'd like to go ahead and see if my customers need any help deciding on what they want to order, so I'm going to go do that now. So, did you have any questions about the menu or are you all set to order? Actually, I was trying to decide between the pub burger and the shepherd's pie. How the shepherd's pie? Well, you know the shepherd's pie is an excellent choice. It has mashed potatoes, beef, all those comforting foods that I'm sure you'd enjoy. The pub burger is excellent also. It's a classic burger. You can't go wrong. I like them both. I think I might go with the pub burger though. Yeah, I think I'll just get the pub burger. Awesome. Did you want everything that comes with that? Onion, lettuce, French fries. Sounds great. Sounds good. I'll go ahead and put that order in for you. Thank you.
