Washing Windows from a Ladder

Hi I am Christopher with ExpertVillage.com and I am going to show you how to wash a window using your ladder. Just walk straight up your ladder. I have this screen to contend with. It is spring loaded so I am going to push to the side. I have my little knife here and I am going to pop that out. If it does not come out easy on the bottom, I will find a point somewhere where it does. I have got my top to come out. You pull that screen out. This is a great little trick that you do not have to keep the screen in front of you, you can just put it behind you. Just put it between the two rungs of the ladder and it holds itself there. That way you do not have to deal with the screen while you are working with the window. Get your window wet. Again I like to dry the top edge so that it does not drip on me after I have come back down with this squeegee. I grab my squeegee and get that angle across the top and down the side, do the S method, that way it does not leave any streaks down the side. You should switch hands, it helps to be ambidextrous. You are going to need to take time to practice that S method but you will get it down. Dry the edges. Again take a look from different angles and make sure that you did not miss anything. Do not forget about your screen behind you. Put the edges in first with the springs.
