Squeegee Basics for Window Washing

This is Christopher Lyman with expertvillage.com. The next thing I am going to show you is one of the techniques to wash a window. If you've never washed a piece of glass before in your life, I would recommend you doing it this way because you can't really go wrong. It is really simple. Again wash your top edge so that it doesn't drip after you've dried it. Then you take your squeegee, put it against the glass right up against that top edge and just keeping this edge in line and just slowly pull down the window. When you get to the bottom, take a second to wipe the edge of your squeegee come back up and repeat the process. Again being careful, if I was on carpet, I would want to have my towel underneath me and it is not even a bad idea to put that towel down now. It keeps the customer happy and especially if you are doing this over carpet you don't want to do what I just did and not have that towel down. Again taking the top of the glass and pulling straight down.
