Sponge Selection for Window Washing

Next thing we are talking about is dipping your sponge and water. I want to talk about the sponge here for a minute. There are different sizes to use and this one is particularly really handy because it has a swivel on it. You can swivel your sponge and this comes really handy when you are doing pull work for you professional window washers. You want to do this full time, you want to get something that swivels because this comes really in handy when you get into hard areas you can turn your sponge around. And then the other type, this is what I talk about when you are dipping your sponge. This is why your bucket is so heavy. You can take a long sponge like this and dip it in and get it wet in one shot. When you have a bucket like this it works fine, it works great. You just need to dip it twice. And what I like to do is if I am going up on a ladder and I need to do 3 or 4 windows before I come back down, I like to stick this in my little bucket and get it nice and wet in there so that I have some water to carry around with me when I am up on a ladder or something like that. Another thing to look out for when using your sponge is when you are cleaning it off, you don't want to take your dirty water and put it right back into your clean water. If you are outside, dip your sponge and drip it off into the bushes or onto the grass so that you are not putting dirty water back into your clean water.
