Heel Dance Steps in Flamenco Dancing
Hi! Thank you for visiting expertvillage.com, my name is Yvette Parrish. So we did flats, side to side flats, toes just toes, tippy toes and now we’re going to do just heels. So the different sounds of the footwork we have the heel is also a very powerful sound and I’m just moving my heels. You want to be able to arch your feet like this and you see how I’m kind of arched like this and drop your heel down. The other one…that takes a little practice that does take a little practice. Everybody kind of has a little problem with that but if you can just kind of bend your feet like this and you’re kind of on your tippy toes you have no way else but to go down. So you want to do heel, heel and you can start slow and then you get faster, I’ll do it this way again and you get faster and faster and faster. Okay so the heel is an awesome sound as well. So we got flats these are just all basic footwork that you can do and then add into your own cerography and combination.
