MIYANNA NIELSEN: Okay, we're going to start with C because it's the easiest starting point. Once again, we have C major scale, click review. Major 7th chord. Here is a contrasting sound of when we lower the 3rd and 7th of the major scale. One thing that's very interesting to do with these is once you get up to the higher 7th to go up to just a whole step above that, and that will bring you to the octave above the root. So, extend this a little bit above and below the immediate octaves.
