Now a Twin Bowline Bend is a nice bend if you don't want to put a regular Bowline into two lines. A bend is something we put in so we can take them apart easier and if you put a regular Bowline Bend into your lines what you are going to have is a chunky knot with sharp edges that might catch on things if you have to drag it over rocks or whatever. If there is anything there for it to catch on it is definitely going to catch. A Bowline is spelled B o w l i n e and most people would like to pronounce that Bowline but it is actually Bowline. That is a little knot knowledge there. If you look down here on my table you will see that I have two lines coming in at opposite ends and we want to pull length on the red line and put a loop in it like so. Now I am going to take my blue line and put it under and through the loop, pull out a little length then pull it around the standing end of my red line and then back through the loop and then pull it down tight and that creates the base for what is the Bowline line. I am going to do the same thing on my blue line. I am going to pull a little loop in it like so actually let's pull it this way. I am going to take my line and put it under my loop and around and then wrap it under my standing line on my blue rope and back through on this right here. There I have created the basis again and as you can see I have got two nice Bowline knot pieces here that will not pull and they are very tight and secure.
