How to Tie a Bowline Bend

Now a Bowline Bend is a nice bend that you can put in two knots using one of the more secure and easier knots a Bowline and a Bowline is spelled B o w l i n e but it is really pronounced Bowline. So what we are going to do on my table here is I have already got a Bowline put in one rope here and it is already set up. I am going to take my other line that I have and take and create a loop in it like so and then I am going to pass it one end through my already existing Bowline and I am going to take it back around and basically just tie another Bowline which since I have got my loop under and back around my initial standing line which is going to give me my strength and then back right on through like so. Now here let's do that one more time because I don't think this Bowline here was very pretty. I have already got my Bowline and my initial rope. I am going to take my piece here and put a loop in my standing line and take my working line through my initial Bowline over it, under the loop that I have created for my Bowline, back around the standing line piece and then back through to create this nice secure knot, I want to work on it a little bit and that is a nice Bowline bend.
