Now Simple Simon is a bend that we put into a rope and it is a really easy run to release the bend once you put it in there. Simple Simon comes in different variations, Simple Simon Over, Simple Simon Under. Personally I believe myself that it is in the way that you are going to tie the rope depending on the way that Simple Simon comes out. I am going to teach you the way that I like to do it. So if you look down here, I have got two lines coming in at one another at opposite angles. Actually what I need to do is take this one and put a bight in it. Now I am going to put this one over the center of my bight and loop it under the working end, loop it over both of them, and then loop it back under both of them and then over once again and so we are creating this nice wrap that goes under both of those. I am going to loop it over one more time and now you can see that I have got a nice loop around with a nice X on my red line here. I take and pull them together and there you go, a Simple Simon.
