What to do While Glue Dries

PAMELA YAGER: So it's starting to look pretty good but let's just talk about what do we do at this stage. Well, we do a little bit of waiting because we have to wait for our glue, our glitter glue, to dry. It does look different when it's wet. And it is also--the colors start to mix when it's wet, like I put some lavender over the dark purple. They're kind of are mixing a little bit. That's okay 'cause I wanted that effect for right now. But if you want the colors to stand out, you want to apply the glitter glue on the dried glitter glue from the step before. So I'm going to let this dry overnight to take a look at it and sort of assess it if I want to add some other colors. What other colors would I possibly add? Well, colors that I don't have already or maybe colors I've used earlier, like I used this pink below the beads. So I might want to add some beads with this, just little dots in the center. That might be kind of fun. But I won't know until after it dries if I'm going to do that. Another thing is--is you want to take a look, while it's in the process of drying, to see if you've--if some of the glitter glue got onto the glass. And over here, I see just a little bit, it has. And you can take your fingernail and rub it off or you can take a Q-tip and wipe it off. But you want to do that while it's drying so that you can make sure that that's in good shape. But it looks really good so far so I'm just going to wait until it dries and we'll be ready for our next step.
