Learn About the K974 Hand in Omaha Hi-Low Poker

I want to drive home the point that even though you have optimism and options in Omaha and Omaha high low you need to throw away most of your hands. Let's look at this hand king nine seven four there is nothing going on here as a matter of fact I wouldn't even call from the button. If all I had to do was call a big blind even if the pot odds were seven to one, eight to one I probably wouldn't call. Because what am I playing here king nine almost never be the nut high, king seven nothing, king four nothing, nine seven. Well I can catch the nut straight with that but if I caught the nut straight with nine seven, two thirds of the time I'm going to be missing out on the low half of the pot. Nine four nothing going on there and then seven four well, this actually can make the nut straight but if you make the nut straight the nut high you probably don't have the nut low with seven four and you are going to be chopping the pot with someone, throw this hand away.
