Learn About the 9988 Hand in Omaha Hi-Low Poker

There are a number of hands in Omaha high low that you just don't play unless the price is right. There are hands that you would play in Omaha but when you add high low to the end of the name Omaha you end up with a poker variant that you need to be cautious with when you get hands like this one. Which is nine nine eight eight and I went I went ahead made one of these sequences suited but it really doesn't matter. Why is that? Well I am from the get go blocked from winning the low and so if two low cards come in on the flop I'm a statistical under dog to take the bottom half of the pot. And though I can flop a set I'm going to be a under dog throughout the hand for the bottom half of the pot. The only way this works for me is if I'm in a small blind big blind or on the button and I'm getting seven to one pot odds to call all the bet. If I get seven to one pot odds or around that to call I should probably stay in because let's say I flop a set and there is only one low card on the flop then I'm in good shape. But if I get this hand in early position amazingly enough I want to throw it in the muck.
