When you are playing Omaha high low, you'll catch a lot of hands before the flop that are intimidating. But when you think about them they are not really that good. Let's take this hand for example, this is ace 6 ace 7 suited. Now you do have a decent shot at the high but the thing you need to remember even with these aces here is that in Omaha if you get into what is called a coin flip heads up situation or just a heads up situation, all of the heads up situation in Omaha and Omaha high low are virtual coin flips. Because you are generally not going to be any better than a 60 to 40 advantage on your opposing hand any random hand. So when you look at these aces you also have to consider the 6 and the 7, the hand of 7 6 in high low is a poor hand. Because it's virtually well, it's not virtually impossible but it's very hard to make the best low of 7 6 you're frankly going to need an ace to come on the board to help you out. So if you catch ace, ace 7, 6 whether the cards are suited or not be very careful.
