In an other series for Expert Village we discussed starting hands for the Holdem' poker variant, Omaha. Now in Omaha, it seems that there are so many options that you get 4 starting cards and you can make your best, you can use 2 of them to combine them with the board to make your best 5 card hand. Because of this it seems hope spring eternal well Omaha hi low seems to have that hope factor even stronger which is funny. With so many options in the game, you should play tighter. Most people play hi low looser than what they would say Texas Holdem'. When a game is played hi low what that means is that half of the pot can be won by the high hand. Say for example, a flush to the ace and then half of the pot can be won by the low hand. What this means is that usually 2 players split the pot in half it is possible to do what is called scoop the pot winning both the high and the low. Or in the case of no qualified low hand, now we're going to discuss what it means to qualify for a low hand as we now deconstruct 15 Omaha hi low hands.
