Gain More Tips on Piano Chord Inversions

Hi, I'm Mike Lais and on behave of Expert Village this is Piano Chord Voicing. Here we are going to do just a twelve bar example of this sort of a thing where we are going to use, in the key of G, we are going to go one, four, five. Just your standard blues progressions, but we are going to use major triads and we are going to use the inversions. And I am going to throw the left hand in there just so you can see how that you are not going to lose in ground with using your inversions. In fact, it is going to make your piano playing sound a little bit smoother. So here we are going to start out in the key of G. We are going to go like this and then we are going to go up to a first inversion four chord and then we are going to go back to a root position four chord. Then we are going to go to the first inversion of the five chord and then we are going to go down to a second inversion of the four chord and then back to the root position. So if I were going to play that all the way through I would go; One, two, one, two, three, four.
