Let's take another look at what to discard on the flop in crazy pineapple. Poker is a game of incomplete information always is no matter what form you play. That is where the skill comes in so in the case of crazy pineapple some of the incomplete information you get is how strongly is your opponent betting, how many opponents do you have. We're going to look at this strong hand here which is jack jack 10 and we got jack 10 of spades. We have flopped jack 9 8 we have a set of jacks and we're also drawing towards the nut straight flush. So we have a decision because we can discard the 10 and we'll have a made hand as we call of 3 jacks, a set of jacks or we can discard the jack of diamonds and we will be drawing and will have an unmade hand of straight or a flush or a straight flush. So we have a dilemma a decision to make do we go with our make hand or do we go with the hand that has all the potential but is as yet unmade. The way that you answer the question is this how is my opponent betting and how many opponents do I have. Right here we got one opponent and the betting hasn't been strong let's just assume that. Well, in that case I am going to stick with my set of jacks and discard the 10. On the other hand let's say that I have 3 opponents there are 4 people on hand and let's say there has been a raise and a re-raise before me. Now I'm not going to go anywhere I already flopped a set plus I got a killer draw. I got all kinds of outs so I'm going to see I'm going to call the bet and I'm going to see the turn. But in this case instead of keeping my 3 jacks because I'm playing against 3 other hands instead of just one. I know that if I keep my 3 jacks it's probably going to be out run by someone drawing out towards a straight. I might actually even be up against a straight so with a queen 10 so I need to draw, I'm going to get rid of the jack of diamonds and I'm going to play for my draws.
