We talked about why good crazy pineapple hands are good. Now let's talk about why pineapple hands are bad. Let's look over here. We got eight four deuce's, we gone ahead and allowed for a couple of cards to be suited. But don't be fooled by that what are you going to do if you happen to catch a flush, a club flush with this hand. The highest club you got is the eight; you are going to be worried that you are going to be losing to a better flush. This deuce eight deuce really doesn't do anything, four deuce maybe we catch a straight draw there. Let's look at this other bad hand here. We got queen seven three and they are all different suites. Queen and seven doesn't work together, queen and three don't work together and seven and the three don't work together so I think that's an obvious horrible hand there. So just because you have options in crazy pineapple don't think that means that you can play pretty much any hand unless let's just see on a random flop how these hands are looking. Well, this hand here didn't really catch anything it did catch what it's called a gap straight potential. If we can catch a gut shot six fine. We'll have a straight but we won't have a nuts but I guess we would discard the two. This hand here actually did catch a two pair lucky lucky. But the problem it has despite being queens and sevens are not going to be drawing to anything so I wouldn't even feel terribly comfortable flopping to two pair with this hand. I'd be worried especially in a many handed game say if like there were eight people at the table I would be worried that some one else would out draw me. So I flopped great but I have no where to go and that is why bad hands are bad.
