When to Use Simple Intermediate & Complex Balloon Creations

Hi this is Jeremy here on behalf of Expert Village. I'm here to talk to you a little about when to keep the balloon simple, when to get them a little bit more complicated, and when to make them really complicated. A lot of what you're going to be doing is either going to be business parties or festivals, restaurant work, birthday parties and each has their unique set. For business parties and festivals what ends up happening a lot of times is you'll be standing in one place, there'll be a long line of kids waiting for balloons. In that case, what they most likely hired you for was to get as many balloons out to as many kids as possible. In that case, I would do something more simple. This monkey I can make in about thirty seconds, I have a bout ten designs I save for festival work. This one is thirty seconds as opposed to this monkey which takes 1 minute and a half. You can get through three more kids with this one than you can with this one. Now, if they did hire you specifically because you make really incredible, detailed balloon animals, make sure you do those balloon animals so that they got what they hired you for. Now when you do birthday parties, a lot of times for those I tend to do more this size because most often you're going to have anywhere from five to fifteen kids at a birthday party and they're going to hire you for at least an hour and you can get through one of these for each kid. A lot of times it'll get you more work because they'll see how complex it is. Last of all, we have the ones that take over a hundred balloons, I didn't make one of these today but the background behind me is another example, it used over a hundred balloons to make that. This monkey was made actually for a birthday kid. It'll actually sometimes get you more work if you make a special one for the birthday kid before you go then you can basically make all the other kids jealous and their parents will hire you too.
