How to Make Your Own Creations in Balloon Folding

Hi. This is Jeremy here on behalf of Expert Village, going to give you a few tips on creating your own designs. It's fun to learn designs from others, but honestly, the most fun is when you can think of your own designs and make them look how you want them to look. Now a key thing to remember with making your own designs is, think about the twists you already know. Odds are you can make most shapes out of the twists you already know. The designs you already know, try to think of what parts of those might fit into the design you're trying to create. Other than that, make sure that when you, when you do try and make the thing, if it turns out wrong, don't just throw it away. Take a look at it and see if you've created anything interesting. Me personally, when I first started doing balloons, I tried to make a monster truck. Now it ended up being a horrible monster truck. To this day I do not have a very good monster truck. I'll show you what the design did look like though. Basically, the design looked like this. I found out it was a horrible, horrible monster truck, but you put a little head on the end, you've got a very cute turtle. And this is a design I still use today. Feel free to go ahead and look around on the internet for other people's designs, and then you might find something you like. You'll probably find some that you really, really don't like, but there might be elements of them that you do like. And feel free to figure out ways to use those elements to make your own designs.
