How to do the Tulip Twist in Balloon Folding

Hi, I am Jeremy here on behalf of Expert Village to talk to you a little about first twist that I am going to teach you. It's the Tulip Twist. Now the Tulip Twist is not the most common twist, but it's good for detail work. What you do is you take a 260 and you pump it up. You always end up using the end of the balloon for the tulip twist and there is a reason why. After you tie it off, what you do is you take your finger and you stick it on the knot. You stick it on the knot. You push it in. Depending on how long you want the tulip twist, you got to pull your finger out. You pinch the knot. It's through the balloon and you can feel it. Pull your finger out slowly and you feel it's going to pop. You're still holding the knot inside the balloon. Now, what you do, you can twist around that knot and it keeps the balloon like that. And, this actually works well for a pig's nose or for locomotive if you're doing a smokestack. I personally use it a lot for the motorcycle light on the motorcycle. And, one of the designs we are going to teach you later is the sumo wrestler. He's the first top knot. Now, another thing you can use the tulip twist for is actually getting a ball inside of a balloon. Now, when I say a ball, I don't mean like your bouncy ball, I just mean like a bubble, a balloon bubble. What you do is first instead of just pushing it straight in, you make a small balloon, smaller than the diameter of the balloon that you are going to push it inside. You stick your finger on the knot and you stick it in the end, like so. You grab the balloon, the bubble, start pulling your finger out a little bit. And, what you do is you hook your finger and you pop it. And, once you do is you have a ball inside a balloon. And, you can actually use this for making crazy hats, little games for kids to play. There's a way if you use black balloons and stuff them inside you can make googly eyes and that sort of thing.
