Repeater Lift Bosu Ball Exercises

ALICE MONSAERT: I'm going to take another one of the typical moves you'd see in a step class. Now, almost any move that you see in a step class can be performed on the BOSU. Again, it's adding a challenge. It's something different. It's a little bit smaller surface area to work on, but it's going to be a challenge because you're going to be unstable. So, we're going to take what we call a repeater. A repeater is a series of three lifts in eight counts. So, I step 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and down on the floor. So, I've got the challenge of moving from side to side, got my arms moving, my legs moving, and I'm using this again using the BOSU as a cardiovascular tool. I can use it for strength training in another segment, but this is going to be to elevate the heart rate. And if I want to challenge myself further then I'm not touching the foot down to the floor, so I've got more core, more strength training into the core muscles to hold my balance on top of the BOSU while I do that repeater.
