So now what we are going to do is a stretch that has to do with the back but when you are dealing with scoliosis you are dealing with the back. This will be a very good stretch because you have to get underneath the scapula because a lot of your rotator cuff muscles are affected by the curve in your back so I'm going to grab her arm. It might be a little uncomfortable but grab it just enough and put it behind her back and kind of press down to lift her scapula up and then we're just going to push it up, see that bony part sticking up. Stretch it out, push it out, and then when you get around the neck, just use your palm and push it out. Don't try to grab it too much, try to be comfortable with it. You need to get underneath the scapula, see my thumb. That's good that I can get underneath it like that. If I couldn't even get under that, it would be too tight. Next we are going to do another stretch, stretching the scapula out.
