The Circling Wing Kenpo Karate Technique

Hi! I am Joe Palanzo from the World Wide Kenpo Karate Association in conjunction with Expert Village. This self defense technique is a defense against a rare shrug with a person close to you and it has three elements of trapping which are interesting. When choked the thumbs around the neck, when I raise my right arm, it actually traps the thumb and causes a sprain. As I pivot away and out coming down on top of this arm with an overhead elbow, I try to again trap his arm under my armpit. Now this elbow could still flex, so I use a heel palm going to his eye as a check and this stretches out his arm. Now I am going to control his height by checking down. So here is a third trap, as I hit up with an elbow to the chin. From this chamber position I can use my elbow to come underneath this way as a pivot and strike using a reverse bow. Now the reverse bow what it does I am kind of close here, it actually creates a little space so I can hammer a fist to the groin and then cover my distance. So we have again to recap three moves on the vertical plane, we have one coming straight down, then one coming straight up and one coming straight down. This technique goes to the circling wing so it is called circling wing.
