Forty-Five Degree Cut on a Table Saw

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is George Engle with Mr. Fix-It Handyman in Miami, Florida and today I am going to be showing you how to set up and use and perform different cuts with a portable table saw. Okay the cut we are going to make now is going to be a 45 degree cut at a 90 degree angle on this 2 x 4. To do that, we are going to bring our blade up because we need all the height we can get for this cut. Then we are going to tilt our blade to 45 degrees up, lock in place. Again holding firmly in place and shroud down and then I am going to go ahead and make this cut.
