Ninety Degree Cut on a Table Saw

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is George Engle with Mr. Fix-It Handyman in Miami, Florida and today I am going to be showing you how to set up and use and perform different cuts with a portable table saw. Okay let's bring up our blade. Again just so that the teeth clear half-way through the wood. Put on our safety glasses and turn on our saw. All right another type of cut we can do with this saw is with our other attachment here, I am just going to make a regular 90 across, across this 2x4. So you have your mark wherever it may be and basically what you are going to do is keep it pressed firmly flat against this part and we are going to push it through the saw and make the cut. When we are done, you are going to see that the cut is going to be a perfect 45.
